“SS Park Victory” is an illustration book that is based on a real event that happened in the year 1947, when an american ship sank near the Island Utö in the outer Archipelago Sea. I personally travelled there and got to know about it through a lighthouse guide, which inspired me to tell the story in the form of poems paired with illustrations that capture the typical color scheme of the island.
